We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and will engage in projects that focus on pollution control, waste management, and natural resource conservation. You will assess environmental impact, design solutions to minimize negative effects, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the environmental performance of new designs and projects.
• Lead environmental audits and assessments.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to environmental projects.
• Implement action plans to improve project sustainability.
• Participate in community outreach and education about environmental practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering

• Environmental Impact Assessment

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
