Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to take charge of our kitchen operations. This role demands a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and an ability to create exceptional dining experiences. You will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen processes, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high-quality standards in food production.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring consistent operations.
  • Assist in developing seasonal menus that reflect current food trends.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Supervise food plating and presentation to ensure consistency across dishes.
  • Manage supplier relationships to source high-quality ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in cost control and budgeting.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into the menu.
  • Participate in culinary events and promotions as required.
  • Foster teamwork and communication within the kitchen.

Requirements

Education
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 5+ years in a high-pressure kitchen environment, with leadership experience preferred.
