Job Description

Join our team as a Financial Analyst, where you will be integral in analyzing financial performance and preparing comprehensive reports in Cape Town. You will assess company expenses and revenue streams, work closely with accounts to ensure financial accuracy, and provide key insights during budget discussions. Ideal candidates should possess a strong understanding of financial principles and excellent communication skills as you will collaborate with stakeholders from various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, budget reports, and forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and perform corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for cost-saving.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
  • Support senior management in strategic planning through financial analysis.
  • Evaluate financial proposals and help in business case development.
  • Create and maintain financial models to assist decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or similar roles
