Security Operations Analyst

Job Description

As a Security Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization from cyber threats. Your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing security incidents, collaborating with IT and compliance teams, and developing security policies that enhance our cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

• Review and respond to security alerts generated by monitoring tools.
• Conduct threat modeling on potential security risks.
• Draft and maintain documentation related to incidents and security protocols.
• Engage in continuous education about new threats and security technologies.
• Liaise with various departments to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Perform root cause analysis on incidents and propose preventive measures.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards.
• Create and lead internal security awareness campaigns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
• Master's degree or further training in cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in information security or a related field
