The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have experience preparing tax returns, advising clients on tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with South African tax laws. As a Tax Accountant, you will be pivotal in helping our clients navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare comprehensive tax returns for clients.
• Conduct tax planning sessions for individuals and businesses.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary documentation.
• Support internal teams with tax-related matters and projects.
• Ensure adherence to local tax compliance regulations.
• Explore opportunities for process improvement within the tax function.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a tax-focused role

Certifications

• Accounting Technician (AT) Certification
