Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of environmental laws and regulations, and will be responsible for advising clients on compliance, sustainability practices, and environmental impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analyses of environmental data for compliance verification.
• Engage with municipal and governmental agencies on environmental matters.
• Lead workshops and training sessions on sustainability practices.
• Draft and review environmental reports and documentation.
• Support clients in achieving their environmental goals and certifications.
• Conduct site visits to assess compliance with environmental standards.
• Implement strategies for waste reduction and resource conservation.
• Facilitate public consultations on environmental projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on environmental initiatives.
• Create and maintain project documentation and records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Policy or Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or sustainability
