Job Description

The Blacksmith Helper will assist the Blacksmith with forging, shaping, and finishing metal items. Ideal candidates should exhibit a passion for metalwork and possess the physical stamina to handle demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Blacksmith to enhance production efficiency.
• Operate machinery and tools as directed by the Lead Blacksmith.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products.
• Support the Blacksmith with metal fabrication projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Some experience in a metalworking environment is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Basic welding skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Reliability
