Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The candidate will work on a variety of projects, ensuring the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical engineering principles along with hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and address mechanical breakdowns in equipment promptly.
• Participate in the installation and testing of new machinery.
• Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Suggest improvements for equipment reliability and performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
