IT Help Desk Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Help Desk Specialist to provide exceptional support to our users in Richards Bay. This role requires a service-oriented individual capable of resolving technical issues efficiently. You will play a key part in maintaining our IT systems and providing troubleshooting assistance for various software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end users for software and hardware issues.
• Respond to IT service desk tickets and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Assist with onboarding new employees and setup of workstations.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and user documentation.
• Conduct software installations and updates as necessary.
• Manage IT inventory and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Collaborate with team members to improve support processes.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Bachelor's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role
