Cloud Engineer

Job Description

As a Cloud Engineer, you will work in our dynamic Durban office, responsible for the development and management of our cloud solutions. You will collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure optimal performance and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement new cloud technologies and services.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline cloud operations.
• Design scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
• Manage cloud services to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead performance tuning and optimization efforts in cloud environments.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations as required.
• Ensure disaster recovery procedures are tested and ready to go.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cloud systems administration

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
