Job Description

As a Tax Consultant in Gauteng, you will play a critical role in assisting our clients with their tax-related inquiries and compliance. Your expertise will guide them in navigating complex tax legislation and optimizing tax benefits, ensuring they remain compliant while maximizing their financial outcomes. We're looking for someone with a keen analytical mindset and a strong understanding of the South African tax system. Additional responsibilities include preparing detailed tax returns, advising on tax planning strategies, and staying updated on tax law changes.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and other documents to determine tax liability.
• Offer proactive tax planning advice to maximize client savings.
• Support corporate clients in complex tax matters and support compliance.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain expertise.
• Assist clients with tax audits and legal issues related to taxation.
• Prepare tax provisions and analyze tax implications of business decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax or Business Administration
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory roles

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent
