Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations.
• Educate and inform patients about potential side effects and interactions of medications.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient profiles.
• Conduct medication reviews for chronic disease management.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Engage with patients to promote adherence to their medication therapies.

Requirements

Education

• PharmD or higher qualification

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed pharmacist

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
