Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at Healthcare Services Ltd., you will conduct clinical interviews, administer psychological tests, and provide ongoing therapy. Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions using standardized tests.

• Utilize technology for telehealth when appropriate.

Requirements

Education

• Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred
• Registered Clinical Psychologist with the HPCSA

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience preferred

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• HPCSA Certification in Clinical Psychology
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Training in Mindfulness Practices: Familiar with mindfulness-based interventions to incorporate into therapy.
• Experience with Psychoeducation: Ability to educate patients and families about mental health.
