Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in tax compliance and advisory services, helping clients navigate complex tax regulations while ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

Responsibilities

• Compile comprehensive tax returns for clients in compliance with relevant laws.
• Offer strategic tax planning advice to reduce client liabilities.
• Conduct thorough reviews of tax documents to ensure accuracy.
• Provide support during tax audits by preparing required documentation.
• Research and interpret tax rules and regulations.
• Liaise with clients to discuss their tax positions and implications.
• Create detailed reports to summarize tax positions and strategies.
• Assist in training junior staff in tax processes and compliance.
• Stay informed about ongoing changes in tax policies and practices.
• Attend seminars and workshops to enhance professional knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Business
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in managing tax compliance and consulting

Certifications

• Certified Tax Consultant
• Fainting CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
