Join our vibrant team as a Pet Groomer in Durban! We are looking for a passionate individual with a love for animals and experience in grooming practices. Your role will include bathing, brushing, and styling pets while ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and health regulations in the grooming environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure pet owners are satisfied.
• Stay informed about pet grooming innovations and techniques.
• Train and mentor junior grooming staff, as required.
• Assist with scheduling appointments for grooming services.
• Promote additional services, such as pet products and add-on grooming services.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care or related field is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a grooming or pet care setting

Technical Skills

• Nail Clipping
• Grooming Equipment Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Grooming School Certification
• Pet CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with pet health management: Understanding basic health concerns in pets and how to address them during grooming.
• Event organization experience: Experience organizing pet grooming events or workshops.
