Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Language Tutor with extensive knowledge of your chosen languages. You will mentor students in conversational skills, grammar, and pronunciation while fostering a supportive and encouraging environment. Your creativity and adaptability will be essential in making learning languages a fun experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and encouragement to students.
• Create a positive and supportive atmosphere for students’ language learning.
• Regularly assess student performance and adapt teaching strategies.
• Incorporate games and activities to make learning enjoyable.
• Engage with students' interests to maintain motivation.
• Attend professional development workshops to enhance teaching methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Linguistics
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of tutoring experience in a language setting

Certifications

• TEFL Certification
• Certificate in Language Acquisition

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
