Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health needs through assessments and examinations.
• Implement nursing care plans with attention to detail.
• Conduct health screenings and immunizations.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Administer IVs and other routes of medication delivery.
• Assist with emotional support and counseling for patients and families.
• Keep updated on healthcare practices and procedures.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and best interests.
• Provide support and training for nursing students on rotation.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Experience

• 2+ years in a nursing role, preferably in a hospital setting

• Patient Care

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Emergency Care: Prior experience in an emergency room setting is advantageous.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Certification is preferred for candidates applying for this role.
