Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our mental health team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing quality psychological services, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth psychological evaluations and assessments.
  • Create effective treatment plans and provide ongoing therapy.
  • Facilitate workshops on mental health awareness and coping strategies.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document client sessions and maintain treatment records.
  • Provide crisis intervention when needed.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health services.
  • Supervise and mentor interns and new staff members.
  • Conduct research to stay updated with industry trends.
  • Engage with clients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or related field
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
