We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of structural design and engineering principles. You will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing engineering solutions that meet client needs and adhere to industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural designs and specifications.
• Review and approve design calculations and drawings.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage project risks.
• Work with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends and innovations.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and bid proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Revit: Familiarity with Revit for 3D modeling and design.
