Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care to our patients in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient assessments and care planning.
• Interact with patients to assess their needs and concerns.
• Document patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Actively engage in community health initiatives.
• Provide leadership in clinical operations.
• Collaborate on research and evidence-based practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Relevant additional certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmacology

• Critical thinking

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Nursing Leadership Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate with patients in both English and Afrikaans.
• Leadership experience in healthcare: Experience in leading healthcare teams or initiatives.
