Information Security Specialist

Job Description

We're on the lookout for an Information Security Specialist who is passionate about defending against cyber threats. This role involves implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in incident response, including analysis and recovery.
• Assist in the integration of security measures within new technologies.
• Evaluate and test security tools and software to improve security architecture.
• Prepare and provide detailed reports on security incidents to management.
• Support the company's information security awareness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree or related certifications are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in information security with a focus on compliance and risk management

Languages

• Experience with security monitoring tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as Splunk or LogRhythm.
