Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders

Job Description

As a Shoe Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the bed machine to produce quality beds. You will ensure that production targets are achieved while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Setup and calibrate machines for each production run.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary.
• Report any defects or anomalies in production.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the workspace and equipment.
• Understand and follow prescribed safety protocols.
• Help maintain an organized workflow within the production area.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Technical qualifications in Manufacturing preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Machinery Maintenance

• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Safety Standards: Understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing context.
• Team Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or lead operator role is a plus.
