Aerospace Engineer

Job Description

As an Aerospace Engineer at our Durban facility, you will play a key role in our engineering team, focusing on the design, testing, and improvement of aerospace products. Leverage your expertise to enhance performance and safety in aerospace design.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for engineers and stakeholders.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure quality production.
• Resolve engineering issues and provide solutions during the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to proposals and bids for prospective projects.
• Participate in training sessions for new software or technology introduced in the industry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in aerospace projects

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Control Systems

• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Certified Professional Engineer (CPE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for analysis: Experience in scripting for engineering simulations.
