Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to our end-users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring IT systems run smoothly, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees in relation to IT systems.
  • Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues.
  • Test and evaluate new technology to enhance service delivery.
  • Support IT staff with project-related tasks as necessary.
  • Manage backup and recovery procedures for critical IT systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric Certificate or equivalent
  • IT-related diploma or degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support
