We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will lead cloud architecture design and implementation projects, enabling our clients to harness the power of cloud computing. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of cloud technologies, especially within the DevOps landscape, and be capable of working closely with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Drive the architectural design for cloud-natives applications.
• Engage with clients to understand their cloud requirements.
• Establish cloud governance and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for cloud-based solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud architectures.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the team related to cloud technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cloud Computing or related field is preferred.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in cloud-based architectures and DevOps.

Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• CI/CD Tools

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Python or Go: Experience with programming languages commonly used in cloud application development.
