Job Description

We seek a meticulous Insurance Underwriter who will evaluate insurance applications and assess risks to determine appropriate coverage. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients and agents to gather necessary information, analyze risks, and make informed decisions on policy issuance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and analyze applicants' data to assess risk.
• Determine appropriate insurance coverage and premiums based on analysis.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, and agents to gather necessary information.
• Review policy terms and conditions to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions and rationales.
• Monitor ongoing client accounts and address any issues that arise post-issuance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance or Finance
• Advanced studies in underwriting preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant underwriting experience

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
