Job Description

We seek a meticulous Insurance Underwriter who will evaluate insurance applications and assess risks to determine appropriate coverage. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients and agents to gather necessary information, analyze risks, and make informed decisions on policy issuance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demographic data and claim history to identify trends and patterns.
• Prepare documentation for policy renewals and alterations in coverage.
• Collaborate with actuaries to establish risk assessment models.
• Review and approve endorsements and changes to existing policies.
• Support clients by providing educational resources on risk management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance or Finance
• Advanced studies in underwriting preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant underwriting experience

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
