Job Description

As a Civil Engineer in Durban, you will lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with standards. We are looking for someone with a passion for improving infrastructure and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute civil engineering projects.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
  • Coordinate with municipal authorities and other entities regarding permits and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.
  • Leading site inspections and ensuring quality control.
  • Work with project managers to meet budgetary restrictions.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus
  • Relevant certifications in structural and geotechnical engineering are advantageous
Experience
  • 7+ years of proven experience in civil and structural engineering
