Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager to oversee civil engineering projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Create and review detailed engineering plans and specifications.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, adjusting plans as needed.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring optimal terms.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure project compliance with codes and standards.
• Manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Facilitate project meetings to discuss progress, issues, and solutions.
• Liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Project Management certification is an asset

Experience

• 8+ years in civil project management roles

• Civil Design Software
• Structural Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Construction Management certification is a plus
