We are seeking a passionate Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotechnology and will be responsible for conducting innovative research projects, developing experimental protocols, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to advance our scientific objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments to test hypotheses and develop new methods.
• Collaborate with external partners and institutions for research initiatives.
• Utilize statistical software to analyse and present research data.
• Ensure the integrity of scientific research and adherence to protocols.
• Participate in grant writing and funding applications for research projects.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Life Sciences or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Biotechnology considered

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in biotechnology research

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
