Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Assistant to join our finance team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting our accounting department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide bookkeeping support by maintaining daily transaction records.
  • Prepare reconciliations and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Help manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Assist in payroll preparation and processing.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in Bookkeeping
  • Diploma in Financial Management or equivalent is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred
