Responsibilities

• Perform regular check-ups and preventative care for patients.
• Work in collaboration with specialists for coordinated patient care.
• Update and maintain patient medical histories.
• Engage in healthcare outreach and community wellness initiatives.
• Respond to medical inquiries from patients and provide appropriate consultations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training medical students and interns.
• Document patient care activities and ensure thorough communication within the team.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role

• Members of the College of Medicine of South Africa
