Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide comprehensive technical support and ensure that our IT infrastructure runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining strong communication with our internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to users for hardware and software issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot IT-related problems in a timely manner.
• Manage and maintain IT inventory and asset records.
• Assist with system installations and upgrades as required.
• Ensure timely updates and patches are installed on systems.
• Document support issues and resolutions for future reference.
• Deliver excellent customer service and user support.
• Collaborate with IT team members to enhance system performance.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on software and IT systems.
• Maintain backups and data integrity across IT systems.
• Participate in IT projects as assigned by the IT Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in IT support roles

Technical Skills

• Windows and MacOS environments
• Networking fundamentals
• IT troubleshooting and diagnostics

Soft Skills

• Customer service orientation
• Effective communication skills

Certifications

• CompTIA A+ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Linux systems: Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems and commands.
• Experience in project management tools: Competence in using project management software to manage tasks.
