Rag Cutter

Job Description

As a Rag Cutter, you will play a crucial role in our textile production process. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately cut fabrics and textiles according to specified patterns and measurements. The successful candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to operate cutting equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cutting equipment is in proper working order.
• Work closely with designers to understand fabric requirements.
• Identify ways to improve cutting precision and reduce waste.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss performance and challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of cutting operations and outputs.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but experience in textile manufacturing is a plus.

Experience

• Experience with different types of textiles and fabrics is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Experience with cutting machines
• Pattern reading

Languages

• English: Fluent
