Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing software solutions to ensure they meet our high standards of quality. You will collaborate with developers and project managers to identify issues and provide feedback to improve user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed functional, integration, and system testing.
• Maintain test documentation and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team estimates.
• Provide feedback on usability and user experience.
• Assist in training team members on QA best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance testing

• Selenium
• API Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• ISTQB Certification: Certification in software testing from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
• Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
