Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor to lead our claims department. The successful candidate will manage a team of processors, ensure claims are handled accurately and efficiently, and work closely with other departments to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the claims department.
  • Train claims handlers on processing procedures.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor claims performance to identify improvement areas.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analyses on claims data.
  • Handle complex claims and manage external stakeholder relationships.
  • Participate in product and service development.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching.
  • Lead team meetings to discuss performance and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Certification in claims management (e.g., AIC, ARM, CPCU) preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in claims processing
