Responsibilities

• Overseeing the installation of new conveyor belts and ensuring proper alignment.
• Conducting safety checks of conveyor systems before and after installation.
• Collaborating with the maintenance team for urgent repairs.
• Documenting service reports and maintenance records for compliance.
• Training junior staff on safe splicing techniques and best practices.
• Managing inventory levels of splicing materials and tools.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Engaging in continuous training and development to stay updated on the latest technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Relevant trade qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in conveyor belt maintenance and repair

Languages
