Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various medical conditions and a passion for improving patient outcomes. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of health issues while providing an excellent standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient symptoms and diagnose conditions.
• Manage treatment plans and assess patient responses.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide immunizations and preventative healthcare services.
• Educate patients about health and wellness.
• Collaborate with specialists as needed for patient care.
• Document patient history and physical findings effectively.
• Stay informed about developments in general practice medicine.
• Assist in mentorship of junior medical staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to hospital policy.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in clinical practice
