Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various medical conditions and a passion for improving patient outcomes. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of health issues while providing an excellent standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform health risk assessments and screenings.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Communicate effectively with patients about their health issues.
• Develop individualized care plans with patients and families.
• Utilize electronic health records for managing patient information.
• Conduct health workshops and community wellness programs.
• Integrate patient-centered care into daily practice.
• Maintain professionalism in all patient interactions.
• Advocate for healthcare access within the community.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in clinical practice
