Job Description

We are searching for a motivated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, consulting with patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Your role will also involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and compound medications as required.
  • Conduct medication reviews during patient consultations.
  • Provide recommendations for over-the-counter medications.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
  • Manage pharmacy staff in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
  • Participate in the development of patient care programs.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Postgraduate degree in Clinical Pharmacy is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
