Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our compassionate team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of mental health issues. You will work closely with patients to develop treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and monitor progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological tests and develop treatment strategies.
  • Lead therapeutic sessions to promote emotional healing.
  • Assess the needs of clients to provide tailored approaches.
  • Maintain documentation and records in compliance with regulations.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate clients about mental health and coping mechanisms.
  • Participate in professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain a supportive and empathetic environment for clients.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness in the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or equivalent
  • Additional training in cognitive-behavioral therapy is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a therapeutic role
