Job Description

As a Pharmacy Inventory Manager, you will oversee stock management, ensuring accurate inventory levels and compliance with regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of inventory management including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of inventory levels.
• Work closely with the dispensing team to manage stock for prescribed medications.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on inventory best practices.
• Develop strategies to reduce expired stock and improve turnover.
• Maintain strong relationships with pharmacy suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and generate reports.
• Monitor environmental conditions affecting stock storage and ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in inventory management
