Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of inventory management including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of inventory levels.
Work closely with the dispensing team to manage stock for prescribed medications.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff on inventory best practices.
Develop strategies to reduce expired stock and improve turnover.
Maintain strong relationships with pharmacy suppliers and negotiate contracts.
Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and generate reports.
Monitor environmental conditions affecting stock storage and ensure compliance.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
Certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus
