Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Drawer Maker to join our skilled team. This role involves crafting high-quality drawer units using both traditional and modern woodworking techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading technical drawings, accurately measuring materials, and ensuring that all products meet the specified quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes for new drawer designs.
• Stay updated on best practices in carpentry and woodworking techniques.
• Provide input during design meetings to enhance product functionality.
• Assist in stock management of materials required for production.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed in the workshop.
• Participate in continuous training and skill development sessions.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Furniture Making
• Further qualifications in Woodworking or Carpentry preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.

• Joinery Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Setswana: Basic
