Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert tax advice, preparing and filing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with all tax laws. Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate tax documentation.
• Prepare tax forecasts and projections for clients.
• Identify tax risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Review financial statements for tax implications.
• Educate clients on tax-saving opportunities.
• Assist with the preparation of tax budgets.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients on tax matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree or additional tax certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a tax-focused role

• International Taxation

Certifications

• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification
• Registered Tax Practitioner with SARS

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
