Job Description

Looking for a passionate Sports Manager who can drive success in our sports programmes. You will be responsible for program development, marketing strategies, and liaising with sports associations to enhance the profile of our initiatives in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sports programmes that promote community participation and health.
• Manage the scheduling of sports events and coordinate logistics.
• Cultivate relationships with local schools, sports associations, and community groups.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sports initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and manage coaching and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Develop budgets and manage funds for sports activities.
• Promote sports initiatives through social media and community outreach.
• Evaluate and report on the performance of various sports programmes.
• Act as a liaison between the community and sports organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in sports management or related fields
