Brewery Pumper

Job Description

As a Brewery Pumper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our brewing processes. This includes inspecting equipment, performing maintenance, and monitoring the different stages of beer production.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain all brewing equipment and report any discrepancies.
• Adjust process parameters to ensure brewing quality.
• Oversee the transfer of materials and final products between tanks.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Utilise brewing software for tracking production processes (experience with Brewing software advantageous).
• Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise and implement solutions.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the brewing process.
• Support the packaging team during peak production periods.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualification in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience with pump maintenance and brewery operations is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of brewing processes

Soft Skills

• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Wastewater treatment experience: Knowledge of wastewater management in the brewing industry is advantageous.
• Sensory analysis of beer: Previous experience in sensory evaluation techniques for beer quality is a plus.
