Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. This role involves working with diverse clients to provide therapeutic interventions designed to address various mental health issues. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, skilled in various therapeutic modalities, and passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to set goals for therapy and recovery.
• Conduct assessments and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including CBT and DBT.
• Create and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Document therapy sessions and client progress accurately.
• Host workshops and support groups as part of community outreach.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Counseling or related field
• Relevant mental health certifications will be an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in therapeutic practice

• Behavioral Therapy

Languages

• English: Fluent
