Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate IT Security Lead to oversee our cybersecurity initiatives in Cape Town. The successful candidate will lead the security team, manage risk assessments, and ensure that our information systems remain secure. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies that protect our digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of security measures to protect facilities and data.
• Oversee the investigation of security incidents and breaches.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Prepare reports and presentations on security metrics and incidents.
• Lead training sessions for staff on security policies and practices.
• Evaluate and implement new security technologies.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on security objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity management

Technical Skills

• Penetration Testing

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with mobile device management (MDM): Proficient in managing and securing mobile devices within the organization.
