Job Description

Are you a passionate Cloud Engineer wanting to make a significant impact? In this role, you will be responsible for implementing cloud solutions, automating processes, and optimizing cloud resources in our Cape Town office. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help us achieve our strategic objectives in cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
• Utilize DevOps practices to automate deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance and security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with software developers to improve application performance through effective cloud architecture.
• Provide support for cloud issues and develop best practices for cloud operations.
• Conduct cost management and optimization efforts for cloud services.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing to enhance team capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Document processes and create technical guides for internal use.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members on cloud technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related field
