Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience in providing comprehensive veterinary care and be committed to enhancing animal health and wellbeing. Responsibilities include diagnosing illnesses, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners about their animals' health needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial systems and processes to ensure compliance.
• Prepare detailed monthly account reconciliations and reports.
• Identify areas for cost-saving and revenue enhancement.
• Work with management to develop financial strategies.
• Assist in financial modelling and forecasting.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and updates in tax regulations.
• Support the team with ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Honours degree in Accounting or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• Budgeting and Forecasting

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
