UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences, a strong portfolio demonstrating their design capabilities, and proficiency in design tools such as Sketch and Adobe XD.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs and business requirements into functional UI designs.
• Utilize tools such as Figma and InVision for design development.
• Prepare assets for development hand-off and ensure smooth execution.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance user experiences across platforms.
• Analyze user feedback and metrics to inform future design decisions.
• Create style guides and UI standards for consistency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on UI/UX design experience

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• User Testing Tools

• Effective Communication

Certifications

• User Experience Design Certification
• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in AR/VR design: Knowledge of design for augmented and virtual reality platforms is advantageous.
