Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients from various backgrounds.
• Design therapeutic programs aimed at improving mental health.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education on mental health issues to clients and their families.
• Collaborate with community organizations to enhance client access to resources.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Psychology is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in a clinical environment

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Trauma-informed Care

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to provide services in both languages is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds: Experience in providing psychological support to clients from various cultural contexts.
